“You did what?” Lily asks, sitting on my couch looking shocked. After I remember everything in the car, I urge Lily to drive faster. Seeing me so distressed, she dis as I say. And now here I am lying on my couch and telling her what stupid act I have performed last night. “I told you. I kissed him.” I say, feeling embarrassed. I rub my face in my palm, frustrated.
