Chapter Twenty-Eight “I see here you worked as the program director at The Tourmaline for a number of years, but now you work in Connecticut?” the director of CIT’s on-site childcare center asks me two weeks later. The woman on the other side of a very messy desk reminds me a lot of myself asking the same type of leading questions when I used to interview candidates for childcare positions. Except this interview is in person, while most of my interviews took place over the phone.
