“ allow me to just quickly pick a few things, I will get back to you soon” I inform Charlotte and she nods before walking out of my office .
I pick up my phone and wallet before making my way out of the office to join Charlotte.

“Hey babe, I have been trying to get a hold of you since I finished my meeting , but you have just been unreachable “Dee says as soon as I pick up her face time and I sigh
“ wait a minute, you look really stressed “ she notices
“ did your meeting take longer than expected?” She inquires in a worried tone and I sigh again because I had a really long day today when the day is not even over.
