After walking away from both Rhea and ember, hoping that my intervention has helped them to dissolve their argument even if it was just a little,I make my way to the office to get a few things done concerning project Olive only for me to get called by my mom that she was done from the cemetery and wants to go home.
I asked my mom to call me once she finished so I had no choice but to leave the office immediately to pick her up.
“ heyyyyy Addy’s mama” I greet my mom
As I park my car directly in front of her but she doesn’t even say anything in reply
“ mom, are you okay?” I ask her but instead of talking, she just nods
“Do you want to grab lunch or something?” I inquire because my moms mood is not always like this and I just want to lighten it up a bit
