After Brian called me Adrian sawyer, I completely masked my emotions and returned to my office because I was not even ready to be vulnerable in front of either him or Rhea.
After I got back to my office, I dialed Derek’s number because he was the one involved with giving me the push I needed to speak to Brian after what happened between us.
“ how did it go with Brian?” Derek inquired on picking my call and I let out a frustrated breadth as I tried so hard to calm myself down
