Chapter 3: The party

The next day I got up to take a nice bath and put on a nice shirt and jeans, my casual wear, on my way to the mansion. As I have arrived, Mr. Johnson, the butler greeted me.

"Welcome back Ms. Lee" with a wide smile on his face.

"Thank you!" then I returned a warm smile.

The first person I saw inside was my mom. She looked very shocked at my appearance, and I really don't know why.

"ABIGAIL!" she shrieked. "What in the world are you wearing?!" She asked in frustration.

I looked at her flatly and said "What's wrong with my outfit?"

"Good thing I bought a nice dress for you. I bought it using the money you gave me"

"Mom.. I gave you money so you can earn and get yourself together after Mr. Williams gets tired of you!"

"Don't talk nonsense. Wilson loves me. Let's go and get yourself ready. Your dress is in your room. Be quick!" She demanded.

I groaned in frustration on my way to my old room. It is still the same as before. Surprisingly, nothing is changed, except for the dress that is on top of my bed. It is quite revealing for me but casual. I put it on and I feel like my breast is about to pop out!

I put on some light make-up and when I opened the door, I saw him, Oliver Williams, standing outside my bedroom door.

I must admit that he looks extremely handsome. What is he doing here by the way? I waived my thoughts and greeted him.

"Happy birthday, brother!" I quickly said in a weird way. It looks like he was about to say something but I don't care and quickly ran off to the stairs down in the dining room.

When I entered the dining room, it looked like they were about to feed the whole neighborhood. We will have a 'family' lunch first before the 'grand' birthday party celebration. I greeted Mr. Williams and he just nodded his head as usual.

Then I saw Daniel. My heart aches a little.. we were in a relationship for 6 months and it didn't end very well but, he still contacted me often to ask for my well being. I love him. I still love him. I was shocked when Daniel took a step towards me and hugged me tightly and said:

"I've missed you, Gail. How are you?" In his sweet warm voice.

When I was about to answer Daniel, there was a cold husky voice that said "Reminiscing huh?"

I was startled and took a step back. "Reminiscing?" No one knew about our relationship except for my mother. Did she already tell Oliver? I'm dead for sure.

He would think I seduced his precious little brother.

The awkward situation ended after Daniel spoke.

"Brother! There you are. Happy birthday! You looked very well!" said Daniel in his happy and sweet voice.

"Thank you, brother. Let's go" Oliver said in an icy tone. Then shot a death glare at me from head to toe.

I was really conscious as I don't wear dresses, especially revealing ones like the one I'm wearing.
