Chapter 15: Stressed Out

When we got to the mansion, all the maids were very helpful with us. Treating us with much care and affection.

I didn't see Oliver though. Maybe he's busy or something. I don't want to leave mother all by herself here but Mr. Williams told me that they have hired a nurse for her.

I have to go home now. I want to rest just for a bit. While I was on my way out, I saw Daniel with his warm smile at me.

While we were in the hospital, Daniel was the one who brought me food when I was not eating because of the stress and exhaustion.

"Hey. Going home?" He asked.

"Yes, I want to take some rest" I replied.

He looked at me with such concern in his eyes. "Take a good rest, okay? Your mother will be fine. The nurse that Oliver hired is one of the best" he assured me.

'Oliver hired?' I thought. But I waived my thoughts and said "Call me if you need anything, okay? And thank you for all your help"

He hugged and said goodbye.

When I got home, I took a nice warm bath then checked if we had a scheduled show and thank God that there isn't so I will have a long rest.

Waking up, my conversation with Oliver is still in my head. I can't leave my band, not anymore but how in the world can I pay him back in a month.

He also said that if I work for him, the debt is paid. Can I work on office hours and do shows at night?

This is really stressing me out. Right now, I have to see mother and take care of her.
