A waitress leads us to a large, round table towards the back of the restaurant. Rigby pulls out Clover's seat and then moves to sit next to her, but I move quicker, stealing the seat.
“I don't really think you need to sit in my lap, Rigs," I say snidely.
This whole situation is a bit ridiculous. It's not like any of us actually have enough bloody time to date Clover and yet we're fighting over her like a piece of meat. Well… Not quite.
I ignore Rigby's mumbled response as I lean in towards Clover beginning a conversation about the latest song she's working on. My attention focused on Clover, it's easy to lose track of time.
I barely even remember to tell the waitress what I want to eat.
