I was burning up. Everything felt so hot and my head was pounding. I tried to move but my body failed me and I remained in bed.
I looked over at my nightstand and tried to grab my phone but even that was too much of a task. Unable to do anything, I closed my eyes for a moment.
The sound of the door opening pulled me out of my sleep.
"Who's there?" I croaked out and tried to lift my head.
"It's me" someone muttered but I couldn't make out the voice. I felt a cool hand on my forehead.
"You're burning up" Vivian said and I opened my eyes to look at her.
"What are you doing here? Where's Revna" I tried to move again but she gently pushed me back into bed.
