"What do you mean?" I pressed for an explanation and she chuckled.
"You were on your way back from the hospital for a check-up, and it was in the car when you had the accident. It was destroyed," she said, still not meeting my eyes. Her story was plausible but who did that sonogram belong to?
Was I being played? How were they able to get into my house to plant it, if that was the case?
