Like George had promised, the articles were gone like they never existed in the first place but that didn't take away the stares and gossip behind me about what happened. I didn't let it bother me much. I knew it'd die down after a couple of more weeks.
Today we were having the first press conference for our merger. I was filled with anxiety. My door opened and Anna came in.
"Any words from Genna?" I asked and she shook her head.
This was so unlike Genna, maybe I should get the police involved about a possible disappearance. The last time I'd heard anything from her was when she dropped Revna off the other day.
