I frowned at Anna.
"What do you mean she's waiting in my office?"
"She insisted and since the merger...." I face palmed.
"You know better Anna. The merger is with the Hale group, not Mrs Hale.
"I'm sorry" she mumbled but I was already walking past her into my office.
Flora was seated on the couch, legs crossed like she owned the place. Pushing the irritation edging to the surface, I plastered a smile on my face.
"Good morning Mrs Hale," I said, rounding the table to take my seat.
If she responded, I didn't hear it. "What do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"
"I was thinking that you and I should have a proper conversation"
"What about?" I asked, c*****g my head to the side. "If it's anything to do with the merger, then speak to Anna, I'm not handling it directly anymo
