The interaction with George's family in the elevator had me feeling awkward. There was something about the way they spoke and looked at me. Like I wasn't worthy to be in their presence, but I didn't forget the look of surprise on Hale's Snr when he saw me.
"Are you okay?" Nico asked as he helped me remove my jacket.
"Yeah....just"
"Felt a little weird in their presence?" I shrugged.
"They have this..."
"Intimidating aura?"
"I was going to say awkward" he laughed.
"They aren't really nice people to be around" he said with a straight voice.
"Aren't they friends of your family?"
"Used to be friends. And it was our father's. George and I don't really see eye to eye on things"
"Did something happen?" He shrugged.
