Sunday was the first day in two months that I had nothing specific to do. Not nothing. The post-event report needed writing. The vendor thank-you messages needed sending. The Estrella Co. billing needed reviewing. But none of it was urgent and none of it required my physical presence anywhere and for the first time since I arrived in Cebu the day opened in front of me without a checklist attached to it. I did not know what to do with that. I sat at Rosie's kitchen table with my tea and tried to remember what I had done with unstructured time before the events work had claimed all of it.
