The Power of the Ice Rose

"HEY!" A deep and rough voice brought them back to reality. Jong Ji and his others raised their heads simultaneously. "How can I help you?" Jong Ji's mother said with a smile, but there was sweat on her forehead. Though she tried to hide it, she was nervous. After all, she knew everyone on the ship was a criminal. "This is my place!" The man said. It was a bald-headed muscular man again and was almost na.ked. He only wore underwear. However, the difference between him and the others was that he didn't have handcuffs and was in much better shape without bruises. 'I'm sorry. We will immediately leave." Jong Ji's mother said as she took her bag and stood up, ready to leave. "Wait!" The man said as he took the hands of Jong Ji's mother. Her bag fell. The man raised her hands above her head and held them with one hand. "What do you want to do!?" Tears filled her eyes as she screamed. "I have not tasted a woman in years. And since we will both die, let's satisfy each other's desire." The man stuck out his tongue as he went with his free hand toward her chest. Pam! The man immediately released Jong Ji's mother and placed his hand on his private part. Tears formed in his eyes. Yes, it was Jong Ji who had kicked the man in the nuts. The man turned behind and saw Jong Ji. "You little!" The man screamed as he went with anger towards Jong Ji. He threw a punch. The punch landed on Jong Ji's stomach. Jong Ji was thrown a few meters back and fell to the ground with his face. The bag fell from his hand to the ground, and out of the bag fell the Ice Rose. "Oh, what a beautiful sword," the man said while walking to the sword. "No!" Jong Ji screamed. "Don't touch the sword!" However, at that moment, Jong Ji's mother held the man by the leg. "Let go!" The man said while looking down at the woman who held his leg with cold eyes. "I won't let you touch my son or my husband's sword!" Jong Ji's mother screamed. Bam! The man kicked. She flew and hit the box behind her. "Mother!" Jong Ji screamed. He tried, but his body wouldn't move no matter how hard he tried. He could only watch the man kicking his mother and moving closer to his father's sword. "Your husband's? Then what if I throw it in the ocean?" He asked with an evil grin on his face. "NO!" tears filled Jong Ji's eyes as he watched the man bend down and pick the Ice Rose. The man picked up the sword and raised it. "Beautiful sword." He said as he stretched the hand with which he held the sword back, preparing to throw it. But at that moment, the cold brilliance appeared again. The temperature on the whole ship dropped drastically. "What the..." The man said as he turned his head to look at the sword because he felt something cold on his hand. His eyes widened in horror. The hand with which he held the sword was frozen. He tried to drop the sword, but it was too late. The sword had already stuck to his palm. "Aghhhhh! Quickly, help me!" The man screamed as he turned to Jong Ji. The ice quickly spread, and his whole body was frozen, except for his head. "I don't wanna die!" The man let out one last groan as the ice covered his mouth and eventually his whole head. With that, his body completely froze. Jong Ji and his mother also watched in horror. Crack! c***k! c***k! A tiny c***k appeared on the ice figure. It quickly spread all over the ice figure like a spider web. Crack! Finally, the whole ice figure collapsed. To everyone's surprise, the ice disappeared into the air. It left no traces of the murder that occurred a few seconds ago. Tumb! The sword fell on the wooden floor of the ship, and the temperature returned to normal. The sound of the sword falling rang in the ears of Jong Ji and his mother. A living being had just disappeared before the eyes of Jong Ji and his mother. They were shocked and terrified. It felt no different than them killing him. However, the other criminals on the ship didn't react much to the murder that just happened. When they saw the sword, their eyes lit up. If they could get a hold of it, it could increase their chances of survival on Drakonkis island. But seeing what the sword did, the thought vanished as quickly as it appeared. After all, though they knew that only death awaited them on the Drakoniks island, they still wanted to give it a shot. It was better than dying immediately by the sword they wanted to pick to heighten their chances of survival. Jong Ji slowly stood from the ground. "Agh!" He felt tremendous pain in his stomach. Picking up the bag with the robe inside, Jong Ji moved toward the sword. Jong Ji's hands were shaking in fear as he was about to touch the sword. "Don't touch it!" Jong Ji heard his mother's voice and immediately stopped his hand from touching the sword just a few inches from his hand. "Mother," he said weakly. "What do we do?" His mother walked over to him. As she walked, she held one of her arms to her abdomen. She probably got hurt when the man hit her. "Of course, pick it up." His mother said without even considering it twice. 'But..." Jong Ji wanted to say something, but his mother cut him before he could finish. "I don't believe your father would hurt us," She said, a little angry. "Alright." Jong Ji said, a little reluctant. "But I will pick it up." "No, you..." Before his mother could even complain, Jong Ji held the sword's grip. As he took hold of the sword's grip, he closed his eyes and waited for the cold feeling to appear again. However, that never happened. It felt like just an ordinary sword in his hand. "Sigh!" He let out a deep sigh and packed the sword in the bag. "What did you think you were doing?" Jong Ji heard the quiet but angry voice of his mother from behind. "Well..." Jong Ji tried to think of an explanation as he turned behind. "I just trusted in the sword my father left." He said hurriedly. Unexpectedly, this softened his mother's heart and her expression. "Sigh!" She let out a sigh. "What do I do with you? You are too reckless." They, slowly and in pain, headed back to the box on which they were previously sitting and sat again. No one dared to look in their direction, let alone have any thoughts of hurting them. ... Back at the shore, two figures emerged from the forest and got close to the shore's edge. It was Quin Qi and Qin Zhiyou. They watched as the ship got further and further until it eventually disappeared. "Why did you even bother coming here?" Qin Zhiyou asked. He was still looking in the direction of the ship that had vanished. "I had to make sure that they were on the ship!" Quin Qi replied. His eyes focused in the direction of the ship. "Why do you hate them so much?" Qin Zhiyou asked and couldn't help but look at Quin Qi. However, Quin Qi didn't do the same. Without even the slightest hesitation or change in his expression, he said. "I can see what you are aiming for, and I will answer you straight away." Qin Zhiyou then turned his whole body toward Quin Qi. He was curious about the answer. "Hahahaha!" Quin Qi burst into evil laughter. "I have power, and they don't. They are just nobody. So is there anyone who can stop me from expelling them? I don't need any more reasons except that I hate them." He said. Qin Zhiyou had a strange expression as he observed Quin Qi. He had only one thought. 'He's crazy.' .... Back on the ship, Jong Ji asked his mother. "Mother, can you tell me how you met my dad?" "Mhm!" His mother nodded with a smile. But that smile quickly disappeared as she began telling the story. "It was a rainy day. A storm was raging outside. It was not an ordinary storm. It felt more like the gods were angry and were venting their anger on us mortals." His mother said with a little fear on her face. That only confirms how terrifying the storm was. "I was alone at home, and the roof was leaking in several places. That was when I heard thunder, a terrifying thunder. It felt like thunderstruck next to my house. At that moment, I heard a splashing sound before the door of my house. It was as if something fell on the wet ground before my door." His mother paused to take a breath. She then noticed how much Jong Ji focused on the story. Thus, she immediately continued with the story. "As if something was leading me, I opened the door. Before the door, your father lay on the ground. He had injuries all over his body, and blood was coming from them. I took him inside the house, changed his wet clothes, and laid him on the bed. ] He was in a coma for over a month. During this time, I cleaned his body and treated his injuries. He was very handsome and had white hair like yours. One day, a group of bandits came to the door of my house. They wanted to take me away, but as one of the bandits tried to grab my hand, your father woke up. He took the bandit's hand before it could even touch me and broke it. After that day, the bandits never dared to bother me again." Jong Ji watched his mother in amazement. "Jong Ji?" His mother said, looking at the amazed Jong Ji. "Your father was amazing, right?" She added. "Yes!" Jong Ji said almost unconsciously, looking straight into his mother's eyes.
