It was a tradition Apple and I had for many years, spending her birthday on a camping trip, but not precisely somewhere in a mountain, but a cabin log home in a suburban area, a private area, owned by the family. We had always loved spending time here, especially in the summertime, because the site has a large lake that looked magical at night because of the fireflies appearing at nighttime.
