May Andersom - The Intro

**"It was all as if it was in a nightmare that I've waited to wake up from, but it wasn't "**

I never thought Jason possessed or not could do such a thing.

But I and Mike weren't always like that...our relationship is something you may call "complicated" It was never meant to be but somehow it worked. It all started when I was new to Raymond High"**

"May Anderson! please report to the principal's office"

**" And that day was just like any other new school day "**

"Good morning May! here's your student's ID welcome to our school"

"thank you, sir"May replied taking it from the principal's hand

"Mr Martin !"

" Yes sir"

"he will direct you to your class"

"thank you, sir" May replied in gratitude

"all alright, right this way dear" Mr Martin directed

**"And I had never known that moving into that school would change my life forever "**

Instead of the traditional welcoming, May expected Mr Martin left her at the doorstep to attend to other important things he had to do so May just walked into the noisy class. Everyone pretty much ignored her since there were no teachers at that time except for some boys by the right who seems to be talking about her. Rolling her eyes she ignored and her eyes caught a seemingly fellow newcomer who was obviously staring at her when she came in now focusing his eyes on a chemistry textbook on his desk

**At least someone that won't bother me** she thought to herself since he seemed introverted so she moved to the seat beside him

When she was finally about to make herself comfortable...

"Hi"

"Hi"

"I'm Mike Miles nice to meet you ?"

"May Anderson nice to meet you too...ugh "

Mike just started wondering whether he has seen anyone like her in his entire life and whether he will ever see.

"oh ..um...sorry I was uh mean that if you need anything I'll be right there."

**ugh...always getting every new girl's attention first** Jason the boy beside May thought to himself

"ok thanks " May replied giggling which made Mike stumbled on a nearby chair

Everyone burst into laughter Mike just stood up and moved his eyes from his classmates to May who just smiled then on reaching Jason his shy smile turned into a frown before moving to his seat close to his amused friends.

'"uh oh," Jason said to himself knowing he was in trouble

The day went smoothly from then on for May and finally, the bell rung to set all students free. Within seconds classes were empty and the hallway was partially filled up.

May walked alone along the hallway she met Jason who was by his locker busy packing his books into this bag.

"Hi" hearing May voice Jason suddenly lost control of his hands and his bag fell on the floor with his books scattering around making the students that noticed it laugh at him before minding their business

"ow! I'm so sorry.." she apologised bending at the same time he bent to pick up his stuff

"AW !! "

"Ohm...s..sorry...I ah !!" Jason stammered

"no it's my fault I..." May giggled "I'm May please to... uh !! "

**not again** she thought

Jason just stood there staring at her trying not to say anything because the last time he tried talking to a girl he ended up speaking Chinese that no one understood so he just packed his things and walked away.

"What the...?" the startled May muttered surprised at his reaction unknown to them both Mike was standing at a corner witnessing all that happened he just grunted and walked away

May returned to the simple duplex she called home.

"Mommy good evening " she greeted her mom finally she could drop her American accent that she has always imitated to speak to society.

"good evening darling how was your day," her mom asked

"just like any other new school day " she replied bouncing on her couch and heaved a sigh of relief.

"I'm so hungry I could eat anyone that will knock on that door" as she completed her sentence a knock came on their front door.

"Urghh" she groaned

"May go check who is it" her mom called from the kitchen

"Who would that creature be" she muttered as she carried herself off the couch to the door " I promise that if it's false alarm I will..." she ran out of words when she opened the door **what the heck is he doing here** she thought

"oh hi May" Mike said

"hi" she replied standing there with her right hand on the door and her facial expression was filled with surprise

"I just came to visit, may I come in," he asked giving her a smile which made his face look somehow stupid to her.

She just didn't know what to do or say she just tried to keep her cool and avoided asking him "why are you at my house"

Fortunately, her mom saved her the stress of having to ask him to leave

"Hi !! I'm May's mom nice to meet you" she said smiling

"Hi I'm Mike May's classmate I came to check on her"

"oh come in come in" she invited

'"thanks"

"May could you make your guest at home while I go bake cookies," she asked while heading to the kitchen

"Alright Mother" she replied switching back to her American accent she carried herself away from the position she stood to the couch as far away from Mike as possible

"What's up May," he asked sitting on the couch closest to her

**ugh !! I forgot to wait for him to sit first ** she wailed in her mind

" I'm doing great just surprised to__ SEE you here" she replied unknowingly stressing "see" then flashing her smiles to try to cover her nervousness

"oh" chuckling obviously he didn't prepare what to say when he reached

"well, you dropped your book silly! "

" I dropped my wha..." she said under her breath

" I'm sorry I didn't quite hear you"

"oh, my book... I didn't know that I dropped my book...ugh thank you" she replied

Just then her mom arrived with the cookies as Mike handed her the book

"Have some " She said moving the tray to him

"thanks"

Finally, something to satisfy her hunger a bit she waited for him to collect so she could have some

"May I have a nylon bag or something," Mike asked

"Wha...?" May gasped not believing her ears

"sure" her mom replied getting the bag from the shelf in the kitchen and handing it to him

To their very eyes and to May's dismay he emptied the tray of nine freshly baked cookies in the bag

"thanks again bye May " he greeted leaving the house

May stood still in disbelief and hunger she couldn't make out anything that just happened in the past fifteen minutes.

"Don't worry dear dinner will soon be ready" her mom consoled " by the way nice boyfriend "

"he's not my boyfriend" she managed to say carrying her hungry self up the stairs

**I packed my books very well how the heck did it fall off** she thought entering her room and falling on her bed feeling so tired and weak from hunger

Then she remembered the most important question she forgot to ask him.

**HOW DID HE FIND OUT WHERE MY HOME WAS** she didn't tell anyone where she lived.
