"Good morning James, how was your night ?" Dr Henry greeted
"it was splendid Henry, yours ?"
"very nice" The two doctors chatted peacefully at the Hillview Hospital quite close to the school campus.
They kept on with their coffee break few feat close to an empty bed in the patient's room.
Then suddenly a blinding flash got them up from their sits .
"what the heck...!?"
"Jesus Christ !! is that ? "
There lying on the empty bed was a young teenage boy with his face,neck and chest region peeling off and fading into thin air. The poor boy's face was now unrecognizable and his rib cage was clearly visible.The boy who was Mike was now shaking and screaming on top of his voice In exciuciating pain and his both palms have faded away leaving his blood fading through his hands
"Oh my God ! is that a zombie. ..What the heck is that" astonished Dr James screamed as he lift Mike's arm up with gloves on his hands which faded instantly.
Jumping backwards terrified Dr Henry left the room immediately.
"Make sure no one enters this room" Dr James said hurriedly leaving the room as the pain in his hands increased.
May gasped and sighed with relief she had feel only inches away from the c***k. She thought deeply on how she could help Mike so she decided that if he was hurt he would be at the nurses' lougue or at a hospital nearby so she picked up her phone and tried nearby hospitals but no teenage boy has checked in very worried she tries one more hospital and the nurse kept telling her that no one checked in
"Wait !" Dr Henry shouted as soon as he heard that someone was looking for a teenage patient that just recently checked in
"yes a boy was found in a room just this morning"
" What !? Thank Goodness, ho_how is he ?"
"his face,his chest, everywhere is just peeling and fading into nothingness " Dr Henry responded his voice still shaking in horror of what he witnessed
May gasped and let out a loud cry
"where is he now !? I'll be right there "
"No need..." phone cuts "ugh damn it, there's nothing she or any of us can do about him or whatever that thing is"
Jason woke up late in the morning to the chirping of birds and the warm sunlight embrace warm except from his eyes groaning with pain Jason put his sun glasses on before the scares were fully form. He sat up and wondered about the things that happened yesterday from his interaction with May, Mike and the poor lumber jack then he remembered that the school camp and potentially his life will be soon over if they found Mike dead or alive.
*can Dark Matter hear my thoughts * he thought to himself again then he decided to ask
" can you hear me when I think "
" I do know that your worried about Mike and May . However, they are not in the camp site Mike has never returned and May left earlier in the morning " Dark Matter replied with his usual hum like voice but now clearer than before.
"how did you know that"
"ugh !! how dumb are u !? break a hole on that wall"
Jason used a hammer and knocked a c***k on the wall and saw the dark matter moving in the walls
"what the heck is going on"
" dark matter runs through the walls, so you can feel every inch of the school camp and some part of the forests"
"whoa" and it was true because he suddenly felt foot steps in the hall way, the beds and students walking about in the various rooms, the gate man and every single thing moving about from little ants and stationary buses.
"Great another surprise" Jason replied not that the news will add anything to his life
" now get up we have to find Mike "
" alright" Jason replied about to jump out from the window but a dusk from the wall drew him back
"YOU WILL ATTRACT ATTENTION IF YOU DO THAT STUPID !!" Dark Matter muttered sounding a bit louder
"oh right sorry"
May barged into the hospital looking like someone that just saw a zombie invasion Dr Henry who was awaiting her directed her to the room that Mike was left in. She ran towards there passing bewildered nurses and a doctor who whose hands where disintegrating absorbing the pain
"Oh my God !! Mike"
Mike was lieing there stark n***d his shirt has already faded and his ribs where clearly visible along with his veins, the skeleton of his neck region was clearly visible with his veins and arteries hanging out like wires connecting to his brain which some parts were seemingly about to burst out of his skull that seemed like a thin s**t of paper.
On seeing the crying May Mike managed to say "d..d...don't t...ou. ch m..e.e"
"oh Mike what did he do to you " putting both hands on her mouth in disbelief she just wanted to wake up and see that it was all just a dream.
"Did you just say he ? you mean someone did... oh my God he smells so awful " Dr Henry muttered leaving the room
"May I.'m ...s.s...so..rry I ...I caused you... so...so much p_p...ain"
"No no Mike.., there's no need everything will be okay"
Time slowed down May's world as she stares in horror as drops of tears fade from Mike's guilty fear filled eyes before his skull burst under the weight of his brain .
"NOOOO MIKE !!...MIKE !!! " May screamed and fell on her knees crying profusely her world dimmed and everything turned black and white
"MIKE !!! " she screamed in despair nurses came in to console her and to drag her out of the room
"Christ !! " a nurse exclaimed on seeing the corpse fading vastly into thing air
"calm down dear...pull yourself together " May managed to hear as her face was filled with shock and grief
"MIKE !!" May screamed struggling with the nurses
"MIKE !! DON'T LEAVE MEEE !!!"
the nurses managed to drag her out of the room then May looked at Mike's guilt sad eyes one last time before it fade away and the room's door closed.
