It was a nice event; the band students played a couple of songs, as did the chorus students. Former top students who had won the award in previous years were there to give a speech and congratulate us as well.
The dean felt it was even appropriate to introduce Gavin as well considering he was a Lycan, and this was the first time he had attended this award ceremony. He stood and waved at the students who cheered and gushed over him.
The she-wolves practically fell at his feet.
Then, it was finally time for the dean to announce the winner of this year's top student award along with the scholarship award.
“The winner of this year's award goes to….” He said as he opened the envelope. He smiled thoughtfully when he read the name and then turned to look at us. “Judy Montague!”
