Judy’s POV
This was the scariest moment of my life. When Matt took a bite of the sandwich and suddenly, he was dropping to the ground, I had no idea what to do. I had never been put in a position like this before. His entire face turned red and blew-up like a balloon as he grabbed his throat; it was clear that he couldn’t breathe.
The only thing I knew at that moment was he needed an Epi-Pen, but Irene was completely frozen and did not hear a word I was saying. Before I knew what was happening, Gavin was bursting through the room. I hadn’t even noticed a maid was present until she followed him in; I was relieved because she went to get him without hesitation, and he seemed to have had an Epi-pen hidden in the parlor desk.
