I walked back and forth in my room talking on the phone with Amna before I strode to the parlor waiting for Tahir to be back so that I can apologise for the way I 'barked' at him earlier today.
"Welcome back" I said immediately after answering his Salaam.
"Thank you" he replied.
"Are you eating now or...?" I trailed off at the end, the very same everyday routine.
"Yeah I just need to finish some work" he answered leaving the parlor. I picked a drink and almost finished it in one large gulp before thinking of whether to follow him or not. But then i agreed on the latter letting him cool off completely.
