The stares that I and Khadijah were receiving got on my nerves, how can people see a couple and stare at the wife with no shame in front of the husband. This is why I do not like the shiny veil she wore, but I couldn't help letting her be seeing as earlier she looked like her face was ready to burst although she stopped her voice from rising. She can't be read, her mood swings are unbelievable, can swiftly sway and she can be easily angered.
The stares made me move a little bit closer to her, in case they hadn't notice she's married.
