23 I slept soundly through the night awakening to muted sounds coming from the lower level. Assuming Megan was up and about, I opened my eyes to see her sleeping beside me. I gently yanked my arm from under her and sat up. My first thought was that a burglar was in the house. I shook Megan. “I hear someone in the house.” “That’s only Margot,” she mumbled. “She’s making breakfast.” She tucked her pillow under her head.
