The following Wednesday I was starting to wonder what lightning had struck me. I was getting READ and it appeared I’d gotten the guy too. Which was definitely the most shocking part.
Connor brought me breakfast every morning after our date. I was surprised he’d kept talking to me after he left so abruptly, but he sent me text messages every day, called me in the afternoon, and delivered breakfast in the morning. It was the craziest thing ever having Connor Lee treat me like I mattered to him.
