Chapter 21 By the weekend I felt like a d**g addict in need of a fix. It’d been a week since I’d seen Connor, and I was missing him. A lot. He invited me over to his house for dinner and a sleepover, clothing optional. He didn’t have to work the next morning, but he didn’t say anything about plans for the day. I didn’t want to make him feel like I wasn’t ever going to leave so I had Carrie on stand-by for lunch in case I needed to pretend I had something going on.
