I spent the next week making plans and figuring out what I wanted to do. I didn’t tell anyone what I was thinking because I’d had too many voices in my head since Connor and I broke up. I needed to do what was right for me, not what was right for everyone else in my life. I planned to be at READ early for the party. We were open for the day, but Pam and George were closing early, around three, so we could get ready for the party.
