After a very stressful day of him dealing with his treacherous fiancèe, that look in Jaelyn's eyes is like the perfect stress reliever for Lucas. He was actually kind of nervous about bringing her over here initially. He had thought she would say no so he got Nina involved just in case. He only breathed a sigh of relief when Jeremiah called to say they were on their way.
He couldn't keep calm though after that so he came out to relax himself by the waterfall while he waited for her. And he is glad he did because he would have missed those raw emotions the sight of the waterfall brought out of her that one could not fake. Her excited self was something worth experiencing too.
