A moment later, Cullen's gun is pointed at me.
"You...You're mated to one of them?! How could you, Hanna?"
He releases his gun's safety and that's when Leon attacks.
Without a sound, and with movements so quick that they blur, Leon grips Cullen's wrist in a way that makes his grip slacken. Cullen shouts as his gun falls to the floor and he is taken down by Leon, who is seething and spitting as he yells in Cullen's face, "You would hurt one of you're own?"
The pack closes in, pulling Leon off Cullen and pulling Cullen away from me. I stand there, shocked at the sight of all of them protecting me. Even Robert moves in front of me, and he had been growling at me a moment ago.
