Chapter NineZero was already sitting behind the wheel of the beat up old Chevy that Tusa had loaned them when Raven exited the house, her hands filled with supplies. Maddie was in the back seat.
Raven sighed and opened the passenger side door. “Do you even know where we're going?” Raven asked as she handed the bag of supplies back to Maddie.
“North.” Zero replied. “If we hurry, we might catch up with the prisoners.”
Raven wasn't going to talk them out of going with her, they'd talked about it before they'd helped Tusa load blankets and a first aid kit into the car. Raven climbed in beside Zero and pulled the door shut. “This is going to be dangerous.”
Zero just looked at her and she sighed again. “I take it you know where they're headed?”
“I have an idea.” Zero affirmed. “Utah.”
