Chapter Fifteen“This would be a lot easier if you would let me—” Evan cut him off with a nip, his beak stopping before drawing blood, but just barely. “Fine.” Alaric pulled his hand away. “I'm just saying it would be easier.” He turned away, reaching into the jeep for his pack. Evan was possibly more sensitive about being seen shifting than he was about the telepathy. “Easier isn't always better.” Evan replied when he was once more in his human form. Alaric could hear him dressing and kept his gaze averted. Alaric pulled out the map they had picked up.
