Giovanna found it amusing and shook her head.
Just then, her phone vibrated on the desk; it was Rene calling. "What's up?" she answered.
"Boss, there's an auction tonight with a bracelet you love. Interested?"
Giovanna's eyes lit up at the mention of the bracelet. "Is the info reliable?"
She didn't want another letdown like last time when she got excited over a fake.
Rene sounded confident. "This one's authentic, said to be from the hundreds of years ago, but it's pricey."
