Chapter 1

Rikana P.O.V

I don't get it at all the whole college thing is so annoying. I don't understand why I'm being pressured to go from both Izanagi AND Saki. Normally Saki is on my side but right now she thinks it'll be fun to venture out and explore but she knows I absolutely hate being a part of crowds. I'm not normal anyways nor are they I don't want to blend in with humans, I can't even stand being around them for a few hours. I grew up without my parents I wish I'd at least known them a bit longer. The only memory I have of them before they died is going to the park while we were visiting my grandparents in the U.K. Playing on the monkey bars and having a good time for the most part but other than that I don't quite remember if there was anything else going on but that's all I could remember. I do know I met Saki was when I was six when I started living with Izanagi she isn't human either shes more of like a witch in a way she studies it for the most part but every time she's in her human form she can NEVER get rid of her cute little cat ears. I hear a knock at my apartment door

"Hey if you and Saki want I made dinner for tonight and if you would like to join" Izanagi was speaking quietly

I realized he had some unknown man with him but I know he's looking at me with very cautious eyes. Even though we eat dinner every night I didn't think Izanagi wanted us to. Then he slipped me some money and a note.

"Please eat out tonight while I have my friend over to talk." I looked straight at him not questioning anything.

"No thanks Izanagi, Saki and I are planning to eat out tonight. Thank you anyways"

"Alright hun" He hugs me and whispers "he's not human but I would prefer you to stay away from the area for at least an hour, I know you don't like going out but please for the sake of today"

I look at him and nod and smile unlike normally and I close the door and yell for Saki

"Saki we are going out!"

"ARE YOU SERIOUS!" she jumps for joy

"Why are you happy you can't even be in human form"

"I finally mastered my cloaking spell" as she does it she walks out and instead of her ears on her head she has a tail. I start laughing and get dressed and tell her she has a tail instead of her ears.

"Can you do the spell just once to see if it will work for you," she begged and begged

"Fine just this once I will do it but if you stop pestering me about it," mind you I don't know magic like she does she knows I am a vampire but she thinks I can magically do what she's learning as a wizard&

"Alright what am I supposed to do."

"Read right here," she demanded

I started to read the book and things started to change not only was I confused why it was working but I was surprised to see it actually work. After everything settled Saki looked at me and was also shocked but not like I was she seemed to somehow know something.

"Did you know it would work if I did it," I asked very questionable

She looked at me and said "No but the energy you give off tells me there's more to your supernatural self than what we see"

"We better get going I’ll let Izanagi we are leaving by the knocking.” As I proceeded to knock a pattern to let Izanagi know that we are leaving.

Izanagi’s P.O.V

I heard the knock on the door letting me know Rikana was leaving.

“Mason what are you doing here.” I was mad and super upset he showed up out of the blue

“Is that her? The girl that got stuck in this whole mess?.” He asked

“What’s it to you? Do you all of a sudden give a s**t about the girls life that you f****d up by f*****g around with my brothers life?!” I asked sarcastically and beyond pissed off

“Look Izanagi her parents were involved too-“

I cut him off before he could say another thing “No they had nothing to do with your bullshit because her dad, you and I used to be best friends and now look at us I can’t even see her parents with the fear she might see them or remember them you f****d it up messing with my brother that is it.”

He looked defeated and as he should he got us all in this mess and I don’t understand why or how it even happened.

“Look I’m sorry I’m trying to fix it and there’s a way she can go back to being her true normal self it has to do with her mate though… even though that will be very hard since god knows who it even could be.. but I’m working on it okay I really am but does she even know what all exists in the world?” Mason said without even flinching I had to sit and think if I told her or not

“Mason I don’t even know if I told her what’s out there other than witches and vampires.” I started getting anxious “Look mason is there a reason you’re actually here?”

“Yes to let you know there’s a way where she no longer has to live this way but the choice is hers,” without hesitation he walked out and left a card for me to give to her. To me she knows me as dad and she knows only so much since she had to be homeschooled. What do I tell her? I started to think how to bring this conversation up because it was really hard to think about it.

Rikana’s P.O.V

“Saki what do you wanna eat?”

She looked at me annoyed “Come on, let’s go to a party for once please it can’t be that bad you’ll have me with you!”

I look at her like she was nuts but I looked at her and gave in “Fine we can go to one party but can we at least change?”

She looked at me and said yes but pulled her book out of her bag and gave us outfits. She had completely long white hair, soft complexion, she was short and thin for her human form so she picked a nice dark navy dress that went to the bottom of her thighs and flats and flashy jewelry. She had put me in a RIDICULOUSLY Scandalous outfit.

“Absolutely not give me the book and I’ll pick my outfit.”

“Fine but don’t do to much of your normal self,”

I gave her some bitchy eyes and then used the spell and gave myself ripped jeans and a nice white dress shirt and some flats without jewelry.

“Ha you actually did it, I like it should do more stuff like this.”

“Ha ha your funny let’s go before I change my mind.”

We ended up at a club called Tipsy’s Tavern Everyone seemed to be having the time of their life once we got inside we found a booth and got food and drinks before actually dancing and having a ball. After we eat I felt a strange feeling that someone was looking at me but I couldn’t tell but all of a sudden I saw Saki get up and dance her drunk self on the dance floor but I could tell that woman still knew her boundaries because if a guy came up to her she didn’t like she would tell him how it is. Then I looked at my drink and it was different and I could tell so I grabbed mine and Saki’s drink and went to the bar

“Hey can I get some new drinks?”

“Yeah no problem but if you don’t mind me asking why?” He questioned.

“The drinks are tapered with I have special nail polish that shows it has been.” I replied

“Okay no problem here I’ll make them in front of you so you’ll see.” He smiled and proceeded to make the drinks

As I watched him cautiously make our drinks again I took the drinks and thanked the bartender and went to the booth. As I held the drinks I looked to find Saki still on the dance floor and she came back to the table.

“Why are you holding our drinks.” she looked confused and slightly tipsy

“They were tampered with.” I replied

“Alright let’s go home I don’t think I’m having anymore fun their was a dude the kept nothing me about you and he refused to come up to you. I don’t know who it was. He never said his name or anything but we need to hurry home before I change my mind.” She looked hesitant

I had a good time for the most part and we went home, I got Saki back to original form as a cat and put her in her cat bed that she loves. Then I washed up my hair thinking I should recolor my hair since my roots are coming in again. My hair was originally a light color but I didn’t like it so I colored my hair black. Then proceeded to do my nightly routine before bed.

Stranger’s P.O.V

Mate

My entire head was ringing mate in my head while I was at the club I couldn’t find or see who but I noticed almost a lot of people dancing except one person that really stood out to me she had long black hair her eyes looked purple but I couldn’t tell from where I was. She was perfect but while she looked into the crowd at someone or something I saw a man put drugs into their drinks. I started to get up and I didn’t take my eyes off of what was happening but she looked and grabbed her drinks and went up to the bar like she was getting new ones. Then came back she held on to the glasses and then they left I kinda followed them home by was stopped by a vampire.

“What are you doing?” He seemed angry

“What’s it to you?” I said in a snarky tone

“We’re you following my daughter and her friend?” He asked without causing a commotion

I thought to myself s**t her dads a vampire?! I started to get nervous and he could tell. “I was trying to make sure she got in a place she knew I didn’t want her to end up drugged or anything” he looked at me with confusion. So I told him I didn’t want to speak about it out in public out of fear I was also being followed so he brought me into his apartment.

“Look she is my daughter but she lives in the apartment right across from me but I need to know what happened exactly what you saw before I drag her friend to do a magic spell to replay what you saw, okay?” He was concerned

I explained everything that I saw and told him if he wanted to look at what I saw so he could see the person himself he could because I was scared for her. What life does she live if her dads a vampire?.

I asked him “ Is she a vampire?” He looked disappointed for a minute then confused

“Wait how -“

I cut him off “ I am a werewolf I know about the supernaturals and everything. But I’m confused about something since we’re supposed to be enemy’s according to my father an alpha, why did the moon goddess put me and her as mates?”

“s**t I didn’t think her mate would come up on our doorstep.. look she only knows about some super natural beings which is vampires and witches and that’s it nothing else. Her past is very complicated since people kept putting her in every situation and she was only a baby. I’ve kept her out of the loop as much as possible to keep her parents happy.”

“I’ll wait for her to tell me when she’s ready.”

“Look she doesn’t even know that’s what I’m going to be talking to her about for the next couple weeks but here is my number and everything to keep in contact when she’s ready and I’ll put your stuff in her phone too.”

“Thank you it does mean a lot. By the way I never properly introduced myself, my name is Micah Larson.” And stuck out my hand which he grabbed and shook and replied

“Hello Micah thank you for all of your information, my name is Izanagi Kou.”

“ I better get going before my beta calls a search group heh,”

“I understand that my friends were both alpha’s.” He replied

I looked surprised and confused for a minute

“We all used to get along before the situation with Rikana happened. I will explain eventually everything to you as well but for now please refrain from saying you found your mate or asking anyone anything right now it’ll help your situation and hers.”

I nodded and thanked him again and headed back to the club where Beta Ben was freaking out in the entrance looking for me.

“Dude where the hell were you?!”

“On a walk for fresh air,” I replied “let’s go home I’m pretty tired right now” as I was thinking my wolf Roxas started to talk

She is very important but listen to Izanagi he’s old and he’s protecting her the best he can. We will know soon enough what will be happening.

I know Roxas but I can’t stop thinking about the whole situation. Just how bad is the situation?

According from what I’m told it’s very bad from the moon goddess.

As Ben and I get home we turn in for the night but it’s extremely hard for me to sleep at the moment with the extra ordinary night I’ve had happen. But I do know that I can’t wait to formally meet you Rikana.
