  Damien's POV   The warmth of the fireplace filled the room, the crackle of flames breaking the silence. Remi stood near the hearth, droplets of rain sliding down her neck and soaking into her shirt. She looked small, vulnerable even, as she stared into the fire, her arms wrapped tightly around herself.   I grabbed a towel from the nearby chair and walked over to her, holding it out. "Here.
