The Lycan King had found out about the attack in the forest. He’d probably looked into the whole Miska and Savannah situation.
If he gave the director his approval to get Savannah out, the message was obvious. The Lycan King didn’t approve of her and was siding with Miska.
Kaden tensed, even if he didn’t show it.
That changed everything. He couldn’t act so impulsively anymore, or she’d end up paying for it even worse.
“Then do your damn job right, or I’ll bring this shitty Academy down. You expel all of us or none of us!”
Kaden roared, furious, helpless. His hands were tied if his father had gotten involved in this.
The director wasn’t going to let her go just like that, not even if it meant ripping his head off.
