Chapter 25 ‘Who the hell do they think they are?’ Kitty tore the newspaper in half and threw herself back on the bed. Tom pulled her to him. ‘I told you not to read the reviews.’ She twisted in his arms, arching her body to get free in the most delicious way. He kissed the inside of her elbow and she dissolved into giggles. ‘Tom, you are awful.’ He smothered her laughter with a kiss, pulled the sheet over their heads, and let passion sweep them away. Tom lay perfectly relaxed, as he always did after they made love. Kitty dozed beside him, her head on his shoulder. Tom trailed his finger along the curve of her breast, overcome once again by how beautiful she was. Married a year now, and it had been a tumultuous time.
