Chapter 3

(KATE'S POV)

I put on my red Bottom stilettos,my red lipstick and gently sprayed on my perfume.i Went downstairs with my evening bag in hand.

"Nic why do you think my dad is hosting this family dinner,and I know Nelly will be there"

Dominic took his car keys and his guy and we went to the the car.

"Well baby girl my brother is unpredictable I for once don't know anything he has planned for today"

Our drive to the restaurant wasn't least an Hour so we arrived there at least 20 minutes late,we found everyone already at the table,My mother ,father,grandfather and Nelly.

"I'm here baby girl" my uncle held my hand leading me to the table and we sat down.

"Fashionably late but you look gorgeous my love" My mother said ,and honestly even though we don't see eye to eye sometimes but I appreciate her.

"Hellow mother" I smiled

"Sorry we're late,there was traffic on the way" Honestly I don't know why my uncle Dominic always covers for me.

"As long as you're here" I knew right there and then that my Father had something playing some sort of a power play.

"As you're all here today I have an announcement to make" I quickly took the bottle of champagne and filled up my glass and took a big sip of it and refilled it,I found everyone staring at my and I innocently smiled nodding.

"Better slow down there Kate you wouldn't want to get alcohol poisoning "

that statement Nelly made was enough to make everyone on alert especially Dominic and my grandfather,that's when I realized they glanced af each other enough to pass knowing looks.

"Well it wouldn't be the first time would it Nelly"

I said staring right at her ,and I could tell she was nervous.

"Enough" my father said.

"I have decided to arrange a marriage between Nelly and Johnson, it is time the Jacksons and the Johnsons "

All I could see at that moment was Nelly's excitement I excused myself heading towards the bathroom until I bumped into someone.

"Careful there" I looked up to see Daniel.

"what are you d....."

before I could finish speaking he pulled me into the men's bathroom.

"Daniel I'm gonna scream" I said in my drunk state .

He came closer to me his cologne filling my nostrils like a drug.

"I like how you scream" he said with his voice husky each time I try to move away his face comes closer to mine .

"Scream for me baby say my name" At this point I'm fighting myself not to lose composure. Before he could even kiss me I turn my face away,I'm not giving him the satisfaction.

"You smell so good Kate,I have been thinking about you the entire day" Daniel licks my neck below my ear,his breath hitching each time he presses more against me, with one swift motion Daniel puts his hand between my thigh while nibbling and kissing on my neck leaving marks of where his lips once were.

"Please" I whisper.

Daniel finally looks at me again while his finger gently rubs on my sensitive bean.

"Please what" he demands

"Please Daniel Don't stop" Daniel opened his fly lifting me up and gently slid himself in and out of me .

"Kate" He says with a husky voice staring at me while sliding in and out of my opening.

"Daniel" I said "I'm cuming"

with one last stroke we both finished and he gently put me down sliding his finger between my thighs for the last time and bring them to his lips tasting our fluids mixed together then kissing me softly yet with hunger.

"The kiss tastes like the both of us" I said fixing myself before I go back to the table.

(DANIEL'S POV)

I watched Kate walk back to her table and as I was about to leave the restaurant I hear my Father called out to me from the Jackson's Table. I walk back without even hiding my shock I didn't expect my father here with the Jacksons and my meeting had just finished before I bumped into Kate. Thinking about Kate and the smell of her perfume on me is driving me crazy not forgetting the fact that I can still taste our fluids in my mouth damn.I brush the back of my head feeling the frustration slowly pressing against my pants.

"Sit son I was about to call you until I saw you walking out I remembered you said you had a meeting" I looked at my dad confused before greeting everyone.

I was sitting next to Kate and she was seated across Nelly .

'Your underwear feels nice in pocket' I texted Kate quiet under the table,careful not to annoy my father.

Dominic chocked before covering up his annoyance and amusement,handing Kate her phone. Damn he saw the text I thought.

'My lipstick looks good on your shirt' I stole a glance and saw Kate grinning, I'm not only realizing she's drunk .

"Kate put that glass down you're on your second bottle" Kate's father has that dominance and power even the great Hector Johnson my father secretly fears.

"Oh father please I'm not one if your spineless weak men in black you're not going to order me around" Oh this woman is full of surprises this is the first time I Hurd her speak to Eric Jackson like that, infact this is the first time I have seen someone speak to Eric Jackson like that.They continue exchanging words back and forth and my instincts tell me to do something before Kate says somethings she will regret one day

(KATE'S POV)

while arguing with my Father I feel a familiar hand moving up from my knees and and immediately my body turns on me. I immediately relax in my chair and slightly give Daniel an opening but he does not move his hand between my thighs instead he keeps brushing my thigh like he's comforting me.

"I'm sorry I would like to be excused, uncle Nic can you take me home"

I can feel myself calming down with the soothing brushes on my skin from Daniel.

"Actually baby girl I have something to discuss with your dad maybe Daniel can take you home"

I know what Dominic is doing,he's giving Daniel and I a chance to talk and maybe even discuss the huge announcement my father made.

"Daniel as soon as you're done dropping her off meet me at the house I have to discuss why I came here and why I called you over"

Nelly's excitement is unmistakable it seems like she and my father are excited about this.

Daniel stands up from his seat ,offers me his hand and helps me up from my chair.

There is no denying that there is definitely visible chemistry between us even though we try to hide it.

(DANIEL'S POV)

I know for a fact Kate told her uncle about our knight that is why he suddenly trusts me around her, as we make our way out I can feel my father's eyes bore hole in my back but I walk out with Kate holding her hand.

I open the door for Kate and I get in the car and I drive off not in my usual speed.

As soon as we arrive at Kate's place I make her some coffee and get her a warm blanket from the small cabinet in her living room.

"I know why Eric and your father are suddenly frienemies " she says while sipping her coffee.

This is not good our families have always been sworn enemies fighting for territories and clients two mafia kings from different territories now acting like friends.

I take a seat next to her I want to hear this.
