We went up the stairs to the second floor, as he was firmly holding on to my hand. His thumb stroked the palm of my hand. What is this feeling inside of me? It felt a bit ticklish, like butterflies, were flying around in there. We made it upstairs as he took out his keys. “Do you need to get something? A toothbrush or clothes?” He asked as he looked at me. I hated to admit it, but yes, I did need to get some stuff. So I nodded at him. “ OK, I’ll be right back.” I said as I leaned in to him and quickly kissed him on his lips as I leaned up on my toes, taking him by surprise. I turned around and stepped over to my room, knocked on the door and waited for my mother to open it. As soon as she did, I walked past her, straight to my room. The less time I was in there, the better. “
