The discussion between Linia and Jesse continued from where they had left off. "And merely like every single year, we're going to go get grandma's birthday present together, aren't we?" He mumbled joyfully to which Linia responded by saying, " I notice you haven't ignored our tradition even after lifestyle differences. I'll be catching up with you at your apartment in half an hour." The call concluded and Jesse dropped his phone on the bedside and bore for a shower. Meanwhile, Helen was just nearly done with Jesse's breakfast. She daydreamed as she visualized they were devouring some romantic moments over breakfast, nevertheless, her daydream was cut in by a hasty knock on the door. " Who could it be this early in the morning? Are we foreseeing anyone?" Helen walked as she led the way towards the door to see who it was that had suddenly shown up without announcement. When she unlocked the door and saw Linia standing there, she froze. By her sight alone, she recalled the impulsive pain in her heart and the person accountable for such pain; Her world grinding and how her marriage was ending, everything. " What is she doing here?" Did Jesse ask her to come?" Helen's trunk felt tight as those reflections crossed her mind. Linia's voice cut into Helen's baseless reflections. " Helen, how have you been?" She mocked Helen. Helen then reasonably asked her, " What are you doing here, Ms.Linia and so early in the sunrise at that?" Linia sneered at Helen and said, " I'm here for Jesse, apparently," Listening to Linia pronounce Jesse's name discomfort Helen more than she thought it would. Linia started again and said, " As you know, it's grandma's birthday today and just like every year, Jesse and I are to take the yield of her present together." "Grandma's birthday?" Seeing Helen's reaction to the statement, Linia sneered at her, "Oh, you can't comprehend her birthday as you haven't been here for long." Helen felt travesty through Linia's phrases but didn't deny it because as much as she would have wanted to deny it, what Linia said was nothing but the truth. Minutes Later, Jesse Showed up in the living room after being completely dressed up. As Helen seized his gape, she couldn't assist but consider how gorgeous her husband was. Unfortunately, she didn't have time to consider him outlying as Linia ran to him as soon as she saw him. "Jesse, you're finally here." Without an ounce of reluctance, Linia kissed Jesse on the cheek and neglected Helen was still in the room. Helen was unhappy seeing that, but despite what she felt deep down, she maintained her feelings under control. Helen kept an eye on sadly as Linia leaped her arms around Jesse and how they walked arm-in-arm in the dining hall. "I have prepared your breakfast, Jesse," Helen spoke. " Should I get a plate for Ms. Linia as well?" Before the answer came to Helen, Linia sat beside Jesse at the dining table, a place that was reserved for her as his lawful wife. She yearned to speak and let Linia know how she couldn't sit there but, "Jesse, I'm surprised, even after all this time, you still have a toasted Sandwich for breakfast." Do you remember how we used to eat that all the time and how you picked that habit from me?" Hearing their conversation, Helen admitted something she didn't want to admit and that was how deep his feelings for Linia were, even now. She had to admit that even while being with her, his habits, the ones he used to have and share with Linia never disappeared, and that while being apart, they still dreamed of being together. "Helen, aren't you going to sit down?" Jesse's statement brought her back. Sitting down, she nibbled the toasted Sandwich silently. Eating the toasted Sandwich further down, she started to feel queasy and abruptly left the table without a word. She headed straight to the bathroom and spat up. It wasn't easy for Helen to go through sunrise sickness and it was even hard concealing her pregnancy from her husband who was currently eight weeks long in the making. At the dining table, Jesse was worried for Helen and she wasn't coming back. " Helen is taking too long. I'm going to go check on her." Jesse mumbled with worry about the down his throat. As Jesse stood and was about to depart, Linia gripped his wrist, " I don't think you should go to her; She might want to have some time alone." "What are you saying, Linia? Didn't you see her state just now?" Jesse's sudden shift in tone terrified Linia to the heart. " If she hadn't shown up after all this time, she might be in some kind of trouble." Removing Linia's grip from his, he muttered —- "I'll go check up on her now to make sure she's alright, and don't think of stopping me; I'll be right back." In the bathroom, after washing out her mouth and wiping it with a cloth, and coming out of the bathroom, she met face-to-face with Jesse outside. "How are you feeling, Helen?" Jesse asked her affectionately. " Are you in pain anywhere? Should we head to the hospital?" Seeing how anxious and bothered he was for her state of being, Helen guessed for a second about telling him the truth about her incubation but as she considered Linia and her reality in the dining arena and inhabiting her place at Jesse's side, she guessed it through. Gazing at her husband in front of her, she mumbled coldly to him, " There's no need to pertain to the hospital in this. I might have eaten something not fresh which would explain my uncomfortability precisely now." You shouldn't worry about me, but instead, go back to Linia who must eagerly be waiting for you in the dining hall." "I'll be in my chamber as I'm no longer hungry." As she was about to leave for the bedroom, Jesse Grabbed her hand, preventing her from quitting. " You're stunning perverse, aren't you? You're in pain, and yet, you refuse to go to the hospital." "I'm not in pain, Jesse; I'm perfectly fine." "Enough, Helen!" Jesse's impulsive voice startled Helen who looked at him perplexed. " I'm taking you to the hospital whether you want to or not." Helen understood that arguing with Jesse wouldn't get her anywhere and simply muttered, " What about, Linia?" Didn't the two of you have schedules together?" Helen spoke of Linia as a last resort, but, " There won't be any issues with Linia, I guarantee you; I'll explain things to her." Jesse left to get the car on the way. Back in the dining hall, he clarified the situation to Linia who showed her compassion. Afterward, he went outside to get the car on the way. Five minutes after he left, Helen showed up in the living room and as she was just about to head out, she felt a grip from behind. As she turned, she discovered it was Linia the one who had suddenly taken hold of her. " Leave my hand, Linia! Jesse's waiting for me." Linia let go of Helen's hand, however, she wasn't done speaking to the latter. Opening the door and about to head out, Linia sneerily said to Helen, " Don't mistake Jesse's remorse toward you for love! You'd be making a big mistake." "Are you sure about that?" Helen shot blades at Linia as she stepped out of the house, leaving the latter in exasperation.
