Sophia's POV The lush, green petals that surrounded the house were still the same way I have known them. The interlocked floor, slightly wet from the drizzling rain, stretched ahead to the patio. I paused in my tracks for a second, wondering if I was making the right choice, by coming to this place. The rain pelts harder and I'm forced to move from where I stood. Now, there's no going back. Not after going through all this trouble. My feet hit the verandah, and I stopped for a second, my heart heaving in sudden anxiety.
