*CHLOE* . With that reassurance in mind, I heaved in a deep breath, and pushed my way out into the room. Coming to face immediately with Adrian, who was perched on the edge of the bed with his hair still wet from his earlier shower, and glanced up as I stepped in. His nose flared as he took in my scent, and he frowned immediately. "Is something wrong?" He asked, his voice low and gruff. I shook my head, dropping my robe as I slipped beneath the sheets in my night slip. "I'm fine." I replied, "Just tired." And then I was turning on to my side, and pretending to be asleep.
