CHLOE. Adrian reached me in the blink of an eye, hand darting out, quick as a spider, to latch on to my arm, and then he was whirling me around so fast that by the time I was gazing up into the storm grey of his eyes, I was partially dizzy, my eyes struggling to focus as I got over the disorientation. Before I could protest, he was darting forward to bury his nose in my neck, taking in a deep lungful.
