*CHLOE* The first rays of morning light spilled through the windows, casting a soft glow over the quiet house, softly waking me up from a restless slumber. I hadn’t slept much through the night, rest had been near impossible with Adrian and the others still out of pack andmissing in the mean time. And my thoughts had swirled all night, restless and relentless, and now that morning was here, I couldn’t stand staying cooped up in this glaringly emoty house any longer.
