Drex's pov
I walk alongside Adrian's guard, my eyes scanning the surroundings as we make our way to the guest houe,this will be a really nice place for my pack members to have and settle in and I'll do anything to make sure we get it.
As we approach the guest house, my mind begins to wander. I think about my pack, about the struggles we've faced and the hardships we've overcome. I think about Tyler, about the young man's determination and his desire for revenge.
But most of all, I think about myself. I think about my own ambitions, my own desires for power and control. I know that I'm willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals, even if it means betraying those around me.
The guard stops in front of the guest house, nodding at me.
"This is where you'll be staying," he says.
