I wake up to the warm sunlight streaming through the windows, casting a golden glow over the room. I'm lying in bed, with Chloe snuggled up beside me. She's still asleep, her chest rising and falling with each gentle breath.
I watch her for a moment, feeling my heart swell with love and adoration. She's so beautiful, so strong and capable. And she's mine. All mine.
