Naaya POV

At 6.00 pm when glanced towards my watch, I felt a sigh of relief that somehow, I managed this day. As today was very important for me and my team and you can say very critical for the company I’m working for. I work for Dobrik’s as finance head. I joined the force with Andrew when he was struggling to make his name or you can say survive in the world of vultures, where if you committee a single mistake they will tear you apart. I’m not implying that I only supported him in his thick and thin, he is also the one I trust blindly and the only person stand by me when I needed to get through my horrible past. First, he was only my confidant but later when I was ready to move on from my past, he made sure that I should consider him as my number one pursuant. So, we tried dating first then our courtship started and now we are engaged and getting married in less than a month time or to be very precise in 21 days. Somehow, I can’t bring myself to believe that, this is all happening as happiness never comes easily to me. I’ve to struggle hard for my happiness and strive harder to retain them. A month back on 14th of February we got engaged and made our relationship known to world, and if I can say our office staff was shocked, it will be a huge understatement. Oh, I’m getting late, will let you all know about me some more next time, right now my future husband is waiting impatiently for me in the office car park so that we can reach ‘The Park’ where his baby sister is waiting for us. I never met Andra in person not even at my engagement where his whole family was present with who’s who of the business community, but Andra couldn’t make it as she was busy in her exams. Yesterday she called Andrew and informed that she is coming home as her exams are over and coming with a surprise for the family. As I’m not very close to her but Andrew said it may be, she found someone for herself and wants to meet him with her family. So now I’m on my way to car park area to meet Andrew.

We reached ‘The Park’s’ VIP lounge and waiting for Andra for last half an hour but she is nowhere to be found. Andrew is trying her cell phone but it went unanswered for the 5th time. I don’t know what’s happening, I’m getting impatient after like working for forever, I was expecting a body massage then a hot bath and finally a much-needed sleep which I was not getting from the night of engagement. Hey don’t get it wrong, we were not doing things…oh how badly I miss him like that. Actually, as per Andrew I’m his lady luck as on the day of our engagement, one of our guests Mr. Damien Brown has offered a huge opportunity for the Andrews Company’s as equal partners which we happily accepted as our engagement gift. Now it’s an hour and we are waiting for Andrews brat baby sister Andra and now I’m out of patience. I was about to bust on Andrew when his cell phone ringed and it shows Andra calling.

Andrew- where the hell are you Annie, do you know for how many times I called you and for how long I’m waiting for you.

I don’t know the other side of the conversation but after hearing Andra, Andrew is very angry and shouted on her. Then he gestured me that we are leaving this place. I don’t want myself to be involved in argument with Andrew right now as he is already very riled up. So, we left the place without meeting Andra.
