Alex- (shocked with the outburst and presumption of Naaya) no Yaya you got all this wrong, all these years. You don’t know a thing about it and you took such drastic decision, you could have asked me, you could have shouted at me but you should not had run away.

Naaya- what I should know Dad, you introduced your son and I understand what I’ve to understand.

Alex- Will you listen to me now, so that I can explain actually what was the situation.

Naaya - do I have any other option.

Alex - it’s not like that Naaya, you are totally getting me wrong, I never ever thought to betray you or your mother. She was my beloved. If I have to, I could have replaced her after her death not to wait for 18 years. And I’m still waiting…..

Naaya - then please make me understand, I know I’m few years late to do so but still for my inner satisfaction and my millions of questions which are unanswered. I want to understand why you did, what you did. Any why you didn’t let me know till I was 18.

Alex - I’ll tell you everything, then you decide where I was wrong.

“It all started when, I was in College final year when I met Angelica Bonacci, she was in same major as mine but she was freshman year. In all my college stay I never approached any girl because I know my father use to monitor my every moves. Though I was agitated by his close watch still I never blamed him, he was doing his duty as father. In very short time Angélica became one of the popular girl in our collage. She directly or indirectly approached me many times but I feared to reciprocate her. We were having Lorenzo’s birthday party at nearest club to our collage, as all the business administration major was there, she was also in the party, Lorenzo convinced me if I like her then why don’t I pursue her. He knows about father’s constant watch because he was going through the same. Still, I told him my fear that if father will come to know about us, he’ll destroy her whole family and no one will able to save her. Lorenzo gave me courage and told me about Flavia and told me that he will do anything and everything to be with her, even if his father approves or not, he was even prepared to be disown by his father. But for the time being they were dating secretly. He also suggested me to date Angélica privately, if I’m interested in her and he assured me he’ll support me to hide this from father.

We start dating, I told her that for the time being we can’t date in public and she should not disclose this to anyone. But she thought other way around, she thought that I don’t want to acknowledge her as my girlfriend in public. We often had arguments for the same. Though we argue very often about the matter about her being my girlfriend secretly, but I was contended, I was happy, whenever I was with her, I felt liberated. This was the new feeling for me. Due to father’s constant nagging and following my move, I always felt imprisoned.

So, I decided to go all out with my relationship with Angelica. By the month we were one of the popular couples in our collage, so that was quite obvious father get to know about it. We had a big argument over it, father being stubborn threatened me, that he’ll disown me if I choose her. I rebelled and decided to marry Angelica, at that time she didn’t knew about quarrel between me and father. We were happily married for 2 months but slowly we start quarrel over little things, she even gets upset when she has to cook. I was always short of funds though I was doing several part times jobs to support both of us. She never appreciates my effort to make her happy and fulfil all her demands. One day she came to know that father will never accept our marriage as he accepted Lorenzo as his god-child and made him his legal heir.

I don’t know what made her angry and why she was angry with me. Things got worse when one day Flavia and Lorenzo came to meet us but Angelica fought back with Flavia by saying that she and her boyfriend steal everything from her, Lorenzo is eyeing on her and Flavia always wanted to be with me and put a lot of baseless allegation on both Lorenzo and Flavia. My friendship with them took a toll after that incident. They immediately left our home and then Flavia never contacted. After few weeks I went to meet Lorenzo for the shake of forgiveness, we talked our heart out, since start we are like brothers and use to share everything. He said he’ll help me in reconciling with father but I don’t want it now. I’ was doing good with my life, I was slowly and gradually growing.
