The bodyguards stood there, frozen, looking like a group of bewildered clowns. Their eyes darted back and forth between us as if they couldn't decide which side to take or who was telling the truth.
Suddenly, Kiana let out a piercing scream, one so sharp it felt like it could shatter glass.
"Ash Rothman, what the hell are you doing?!"
Ash, his expression stone-cold, stepped toward Kiana. Under her furious glare, he shouted, "I should be asking you that. What the hell do you think you're doing? Kiana, enough! Haven't you embarrassed yourself enough?"
