I stared at the text thread from Oliver. I did that most of the time these day’s. I missed talking to him, I missed seeing him all the time.
It had been two months since we caught Seth Herring aka the Stumptown Stalker. Things seemed like they were finally over and Oliver and I could finally relax. I could finally do those things that I promised him before I left him on that grim day we both got kidnapped.
When the cops and medics showed up I was whisked away to the hospital. I wasn’t too badly injured, just needed to be bandaged up and get some fluids. Oliver was with me, in fact, he stayed with me for my overnight stay in the hospital.
