Chapter four.

Shattered emotions.

Lucy was no longer confined to her house, and she felt a great sense of relief hoarding over her. However, most people still doubted her innocence, and she knew she had to be careful now.

She proceeded with her usual domestic chores as usual in the Blood Moon pack, trying to stay unnoticed and avoid causing more problems. She needed the low-key life more than ever to see if it would work this time.

As time went by, Lucy noticed a different behavior from Alpha Adams she had never seen before. He stopped visiting the slave quarters due to reasons best known to him.

Lucy loved it though. It gave her the liberty to rest from his troubles. She suspected that the ongoing investigations might have coerced him to stop visiting the slave quarters.

On the same night, when the moonlight was shining across the wood, Alpha Adams returned to the slave quarters just when Lucy thought she was free from the Alpha's claws. She was shocked to see him. He was the last person she expected to see.

The Alpha stared at her with an intense and hunting gaze. “Dear, Lucy. Missed me? I can see that you're no longer placed on house arrest.

I think the next step is to continue from where we left off. What do you think?"

Lucy felt her heart beat faster, but she would rather not show her weakness to prove she was strong and resilient

'I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore. Don't you understand? I'm done with you! Just let me be. You're a menace to my life and need to be avoided at all costs." She rebuked him.

Alpha Adams mocked her with a burst of wicked but scary laughter.

"As long as I live, I own you. You don't deserve any happiness because I'll take it all away. I get what I want with ease and no one can stop me. Do I need to remind you that I'm the Alpha of this pack which you live in?"

Lucy tightened her hands into fists, becoming more determined. I will no longer be controlled or used by you in your manipulative actions. “I have had enough of your madness. I want my freedom,"

The Alpha's eyes got darker, as he moved closer to her his warm breath touching her neck. "Lucy, you can not grasp or comprehend what I am saying. I can either make your life very difficult or make it nice and easy. You can't decide on this matter. I call the shots here."

Lucy moved back and stood strongly, showing defiance. "I will no longer let your fear control me ever again.

If you keep doing what you're doing, I will make everyone in the Pack aware of it."

The Alpha held her arm tightly, his nails piercing her delicate skin. 'You are taking part in a risky activity, Lucy. You have no idea what I can do."

Lucy quickly realized that she couldn't win the conflict alone, so she decided to do what Alpha Adams wanted, even though she didn't want to as he forcefully made love to her.

During one of their private meetings, after Adams had fulfilled his s****l desires. He was lying next to her and talking to her.

"Lucy, you must keep our meetings a secret and not let anyone know about them," Adams warned Lucy, he further said that the results would be awful if anyone found out about them.

I get it, Your Majesty. “I will keep it a secret,” she answered him anxiously.

Even though she worked well with them, Ainar wanted to be accepted by the Lycans. One night, she signaled to a group of wolves, wanting to be included in their group. However, her dreams were completely broken.

“Do you believe that you can easily come here and fit in with us? In reality, you are just a tool being used by someone else.“ One of them frightened Lucy and caused them to leave.

The Alphas all laughed, and Lucy felt quite embarrassed by the situation.

Dark clouds covered the sky which indicated an apparent heavy downpour.

Lucy was seated in the garden reminiscing about her stay in the pack when she felt someone grab her waistline from behind. Looking back, she discovered the person was Alpha Adams. She couldn't fight back and willingly gave in.

While they made love, Lady Macbeth caught them in the act.

The Alpha was able to get away without anyone finding out who he was. But Lucy got caught, and she couldn't deny having a relationship with an outcast.

“You lied to everyone, Lucy. How could you? I knew I saw you speaking to an outcast.“ Phina spoke to her while she was being dragged to the dungeon.

"I will not get hurt in this situation.

I have kept the secret of the Alpha and I know he wouldn't want to harm or kill me,” Lucy assured herself.

But she felt sad when Adams pronounced judgment on her. He ordered that she should be locked up and starved for 48 hours.

Lucy was tied up and deprived of food for some days. She felt famished, but she stayed strong and didn't give up.

But, while she was going through a difficult time, Lucy found something surprising. She was pregnant.

She quietly asked herself, “How can I have a baby in this sad world? I can't risk it,"

Feeling desperate and having mixed feelings, she bravely told Alpha Adams about her pregnancy.

“Your majesty, I am pregnant with your baby.“ She quietly disclosed while awaiting his response.

The Alpha's response was not what was expected. He avoided her and looked at her with a feeling of dislike.

“Do you expect me to take responsibility for a child? Don't dare tell anyone about this, and I want nothing to do with it. I want you to get rid of it,"

Lucy felt deeply sad and upset. She was unsure about what actions to take. She felt extremely upset and let down by the person she was meant to be with forever.

That night, Lucy heard the Alpha discussing with his BETA, Leonardo how he feels about Lucy.

"Why do you still have Lucy with you? It seems like you like her." Leonardo asked Adams.

"I don't care about her at all. I just want her to satisfy my s****l urge. She's worthless in this pack." He told Leonardo.

Lucy's heart felt heavy and sad as she listened quietly from a hidden place, realizing the seriousness of her difficult situation.

She understood that she needed to keep herself and her unborn baby safe, even if it meant making friends with people who had previously rejected her.

Lucy, feeling determined and a bit nervous, found a hidden diary in the secret rooms of the Alpha when she was cleaning one day.

The pages had the names of the people he hurt, and the truth about his search for longevity was revealed. She understood that she needed allies to face this troubling secret and shield herself and her unborn baby.

Some names listed in the dairies were the names of her parents Alvin and Caroline.

Lucy was extremely upset when she found out that Adams murdered her parents to become the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack.

"I must escape from this pack. I can't be part of this madness anymore." She vowed and realized that she needed to handle the situation herself. She escaped at night when no one was watching.

She would rather not bring up her child in a place affected by the Alpha's evil agenda. In the lonely woods, Lucy spoke gently to the baby growing inside her.

"We will find a better life, my child. Get away from this deceitful pack and the cruel Alpha who is your father."

She escaped to a far destination where she knew no one would find her
