The Past

The past had come back to bite chris in the arse. He couldn't find Lucy anywhere, had she heard the conversation with his sister? It had got heated and she may of heard thing s about her that he wouldn't want her to hear. Bile came to his throat, as dread set in. He swallowed it back, she left there was no other way to put it, had she left for good? He asked himself, maybe he can explain. There was still hope left he would give it a couple of days.

Meanwhile it been a few weeks since Lucy has left the johnsons. Lucy had found a place to stay and some work as seamstress repairing dresses, for the ladies in town, a lady had take her under her wing as she had never done that kind of work before. So she had to learn new skills. She worked hard and had finally saved enough to pay the johnsons back. She wondered how she was going to give it to them. She decided to write a letter to them, leaving money in closed. In the letter she had wrote that she didnt wish to be in debt to johnson anymore and that wanted to make a life for herself. She also very grateful to them for taking her in.

A tall brown haired man with green eyes approaches Lucy. He asks if she has seen woman named Elizabeth Hudson. It took a minute to for lucy to click. Lucy said "oh your Elizabeth husband." He replied oh finally I found someone who can tell me how to get there as I have gotten lost. Lucy said "sure I will tell you but could deliver this to them for me as well. This letter and this horse if would ever be so kind."

Edward said " sure no worries, ma'am." Lucy then proceeded to tell Edward how to get to the Johnsons.

Edward soon left and Lucy sighed. She thought to herself that Elizabeth was very lucky to have husband that concerned for her welfare.

These last few weeks have been hell for chris, after working out that Lucy wasn't coming back, he hasn't been himself, mopping around the farm, he had no idea where she would gone, he also very busy with all the work on farm he been doing, Elizabeth looked like she was going to pop any day now. The waiting was stressful, also another thing on Chris mind was where was Elizabeth husband, she was very stressed and seemed like she couldn't relax as she was worried that something had happened to him, it wasn't like him. Not to look for her she had said, she also had written on the letter to come to her parents place as she wanted be around her mum when she gave birth. So Chris had to keep her sister calm and collected as stress wouldn't be good for the baby. She was also put on bed rest, so Chris had to take on extra work around the farm. It also didn't help that his sister had given him an earful and called him stupid. Chris had finally realised his feeling a little bit too late. He needed Lucy in his life. She made a huge impact to whole family, in a good way. Until later that day Edward came riding in on is horse with Chris tied behind him the one that was missing front the stabble a mare named Penny. She was a beautiful horse and missed her deeply, as chris had raised her from a foal as her mother had been killed by mountain lions. Her brown mane and chocolate skin was beautiful. She also had a white strip down the middle of her nose. Chris had wondered how Edward had gotten the as Lucy was the last person to have her.

When Edward had came into the house Chris was going to ask him how he had got the horse. So after Edward had put the horse in the stabble and come into the house. Chris had approached Edward.

Edward had come into the Johnsons homes sighed in relief that he had finally be able to get here, to be with his wife while she gave birth to there child. He saw Chris standing there with his arm folded in cross stance. He asked why Charles hadn't come earlier. Charles explained how he had gotten lost a lady had told him how to get here, then remembered the letter she had given him to give to the Johnsons. He got the letter out of his pocket. While Chris stance relaxed a bit after hearing that charles had gotten lost on the way here. Then Edward had given him a letter. Chris procced to open the and read the contents of the letter. That had confirmed Chris suspicions. Lucy had give Edward the horse and letter. She also gave them back all the money Chris had spent on her. Chris then grabbed Edward by the collar and asked where was this lady who had given him the letter and horse. Once Edward had told him where Lucy was Chris proceed to run up stairs and pack. He was going to get Lucy, his heart raced when Edward told him where to find her, he was no longer down and upset. He had to go get her and kiss those lips of hers with full force, make her unable to move. Make her never doubt his feeling for her never again. Just the thought had him hard as brick, he had tell himself not now, there was time for that later. Right now he had go get her, so he could touch her again.

Elizabeth was sleeping when she heard a knock to the door. She got up and opened the door, then she saw him her husband. She grabbed him around the neck and she let tears run down her cheeks. He was at her home safe. She asked him what happened and explained how he had gotten lost and how a young lady had told him how to get her, Chris soon left in hurry after Edward had told him where this lady was. Elizabeth knew exactly who he was speaking about and explained the whole situation to Edward. Then Edward realised why he was in such a rush. He wished Chris good luck.
